This BMW is the 330 diesel that packs a mega punch, accelerating from 0-60 in 6.8 secs, close to that of an scooby at 6.4 secs, but out accelerates them above 50 mph due to the massive torque. It handles like on rails and you can feel the computer tweaking the handling driving hard round bends to keep it in control and yet let a bit of smoke come off the tires riding along the edge.. to sum it all a truly awesome car. The latest model produces 245 BHP. 500 NM of torque at only 1750 RPM!! 0 - 62 in 6.2 secs, now that beats an impreza!! and yet produce on the combined cycle 47 MPG!! A must have car... |

 Audi A5 TDI - basically it comes in 3 diesel versions - 2.0, 2.7 and 3.0. The 3.0 has more torque than the S5 yet delivers a combined cycle of over 40mpg. 0-60mph happens in a tad under 6 seconds too.  |    |
